If you are reading this before March 1, then there is still just time to enter THE WORLD TRAX CHAMPIONSHIPS 2000. Entries for this competition to determine the best player of the popular tile-based strategy game from New Zealand, must be in by the end of February.
There are three Regional Qualifier tournaments, and the best placed players will go through to an all-play-all Candidates' stage. The winner of that stage becomes the challenger to current world champion Donald Bailey. For more information and details of how to enter, see the World Championship Website.
Trax was invented by David Smith and was first published in 1982. So far more than 250,000 sets have been sold in 18 countries. This Trax Home Page has information about clubs and associations as well as commented games, puzzles, hints on strategy and information about the history of the game. And you can play Trax at the MSN Gaming Zone or at Richard's PBEM Server.
