How to register and vote in

the Lu vs. World match

How to vote

The contest has turned into a nice fighting game. (We were afraid that it would be a dull draw.) I think the fans would benefit and the organizer would too, if more people would register to take part. Hopefully, this would start a trend for more games with this format.

Below I will try to describe how to get registered (the way I did it):

After reaching the main screen via: http://chess.online.tj.cn/ ;

Hit the second button (copper colored) on the left to register.
You will see rows of blank fields for you to fill in:

  • 1. Your account/user name - pick a user name
  • 2. Your password - pick a unique password
  • 3. Confirm your password - just retype the password
  • 4. Chinese ID# field - after a few tries, I typed in ‘US' and it worked
  • 5. Address - I gave my POB address
  • 6. Telephone - I gave my work phone with area code
  • 7. E-mail address

It appears all fields have to be filled in. If things are OK, you will see a confirmation.

Then you can get back to the initial screen, fill in the user and password at the right (under the counter), and hit the yellow square (or orange rectangle, depending on the browser) to login.

Then the game screen will appear, with the current position, and the choices as well as the previous moves so far. Fill in your choice and an acknowledgment screen will appear, thanking you for your participation.

Note: the above described how I got in, I don't guarantee this procedure for everyone. Good luck!
