The above are representative hands. The usual winning hand will be between 30 and 40 points. The possibilities of Mah Jong will be realized to some extent when you consider that over 25,000 points may be scored on a single hand. This would mean, if the winner were East Wind, that his opponents would owe him over 150,000 points on the hand.
