Andrew Sarjeant Trophy - The Video
Coventry
9 July 2000

Once again I have recorded the entire match on video and this time without missing any of it! However, there is one misplay. In Game 4, move 16, Bob Parmley (red) has to play a 31 in this position:

To the astonishment of everyone Bob plays 8/3 - even his opponent, John Slattery doesn't notice; but everyone else does!

I have fiddled around with JellyFish and forced him/it/whatever to make the misplay too; so, if you play through the match and see a 'mistake' this will be the one. JellyFish won't easily accept misplays but I am it's master and it does as I say.

The entire final can be downloaded as a JellyFish .mat file from here. You can also obtain a free video of the match by sending a blank video tape to me at Biba HQ including a stamped addressed envelope for its return.
