Paul Lamford is an expert at many games and has played for Wales in four chess Olympiads, won a number of bridge events including British Men's Teams Championship, Welsh Pairs Championship, and Singapore Pairs Championship. He was the 1993 British Backgammon Champion, and winner of the Super Jackpot in Slovenia 1999.
He is also the author of the following books:

He has been a member of the British Isles Backgammon Association since November 1991 and is one of their highest ranked players. He has won three major tournaments and has been runner-up twice in the Biba Ranking Championships. In his 'spare time' Paul can be found playing backgammon at his local club, The Fox Reformed, Stoke Newington, London.
