Women's Chess in India
India will host 2 WGM tournaments this year, besides the Asian Women's Championship. "Renowned Russian coach Alexander Lyssenko, after a training camp last year, had remarked that he expected India to be a strong nation in the world women's chess in a few years' time."

Blind Players Compete in India
In India, 80 blind players competed against each other for the right to play in international tournaments. "We are on par with sighted players, probably at an advantage as we are not easily distracted by visual disturbances and hence play with greater concentration," points out reigning state champion 20-year-old Dinesh Bhura."

I am legitimate candidate for it since 1998 and the speculations about the California offer can not change it."
