Veselin Topalov vs. Alexey Dreev

White has nasty threats (1.Rxf7+, 1.Nd6, 1.Qg6, 1.Bf3 etc), so in desperation black played a sequence of moves which cost him a rook: 1..d3 2.Qxd3 Ne5 3.Nxe5 Qb6+ 4.Rf2 Bxe5 5.Qf3 f5 6.Qxa8+ and white won quickly.
Viswanathan Anand vs. Bartolomiej Macieja

White has lined his pieces up for an attack: 1.Bxf6 gf 2.Bxe6! fe 3.Qxe6+ cleaning up black's kingside completely and forcing black's resignation in a few moves with mating threats.
Alexander Khalifman vs. Rafael Leitao

Black is in zugzwang: 1..Ka2 2.Ra8 Rxh7 3.Rxa4+ Kb3 4.Ra6 Re7+ 5.Re6 winning quickly.
Vladislav Tkatchiev vs. Alexander Morozevich

White played 1.Qb2. Instead of playing the natural 1..Nxc3, black decided to lose a pawn: 1..e6? 2.Nxb5 Qb6 3.Ra5 for which he had no compensation.
