The Champion?
The jury is in - time for a contest tie-breaker! Attend the live chat for the Corus super-tournament on Saturday, 27th January for the final challenge. Original contest details below.

Is the FIDE KO title system a lottery? Or can you show that you know how it works? Join the MSO's prediction competition and test your crystal ball!

We will be posting a form with each round's pairings, and you can just fill it out with your picks and send it in.

When the field starts to thin out, competitors will have to guess the winning score as well.

Each round, the person with the most correct results will win a book prize, as will the one who picks the eventual FIDE champion. Ties will be broken by a Random Trivia Quiz at our regular MSO Championship Chats, and should be an entertaining part of the event. The judge's decision will be final (no lawsuits or appeals to higher regional courts considered).

There will be a grand prize for the competitor who wins the most rounds - free entry to all chess events at London's MSO 5.

There was no correct prediction for the lopsided result of the final match!
