Take part in the MSO's chess prediction contest! Enter your name and e-mail address into the boxes provided - we will only use this information to contact you if you qualify for a prize.

There is only one match taking place, to determine the FIDE chess championship of the world - so just asking for the overall result, or even the final score, would guarantee a massive tie-breaker. Accordingly, we're going to ask you to predict three pieces of information:

1. The final score.
2. How many of the six full-length games will be won rather than drawn.
3. The first moves in the first two games.

For each of the four sections, click in one of the sets of circles, according to what you think the outcome of the section will be. You'll see a dot in the circle you've picked. The winner is the entrant who has come closest to selecting all four sections correctly; the correct score is most important, the number of wins is second most important and the first moves are least important.

This contest will close on Wednesday 20th December, just before the first game in the final has started. The contest has now closed, so please no more votes for this round!

Once you've finished and are happy to accept the full rules of the competition, press the "submit" button at the very bottom and your entry will be registered. If you win, we'll be in touch!
