With a 500 Elo points difference in ratings it is hardly surprising that Black was unable to survive his Grandmaster opponent. For a while it appeared as though Black might be able to develop some counterplay on the K-side but it was purely illusory - Wu had the game completely under control at all times and only had to wait for Black to blunder away material.
