Hungary beat Russia!
The Fide Chess Olympiad 2000 has reached round 3, but the Turkish online service is acting up. No round two games were broadcast live, because the intricate move-recording system did not work.
Round 3 saw some real surprises up front! The courageous Hungarian team scored big time and beat the pre-tournament favourites Russia. Leko beat Khalifman (again!) while others drew.
