Game 7: October 19 Feeble draw!
There is not a lot to say about a game that lasts 11 lifeless moves. Kramnik played the opening at lightning pace, and was about 40 minutes ahead with very comfortable equality after ten moves.
No doubt with the paying spectators in mind, and the legion of enthusiasts following the game around the globe, Kasparov offered Kramnik his hand in peace after making his 11th move. Kramnik was content - Kasparov's absolute impotence with the white pieces involves a considerable loss of face for the champion.
One wonders what Kasparov and his famed team of analytical assistants have been up to the past months. And what it will take for Kasparov to fight in an equal position, or to win a game.
