Shogi

Consists of three events:
- the double-elimination European Championship, for
dan-rated players with European passports or
meeting residency qualifications, and also the
last winner of last year's side tournament.
- the six-round European Open Championship, for dan-rated
players, kyu-rated players and those eliminated
from the European Championship, who continue from
their already attained score.
- the European Quick Shoigi Championship on Friday
evening, open to all players.
- Sep 11 Royston Shogi Congress at The Boathouse, Chesterton Road, Cambridge.
Shogi: 3 rounds, 1 hour and 30 seconds byoyomi each.
Tori-Shogi: up to 5 rounds, 45 minutes and 30 seconds
byoyomi each.
Mini-Shogi: no time limits, but played as all-play-all
tournament between the other rounds.
