All about the MSO Japan events

MSO events take place around the world; one key venue is Japan. They have their own Japanese language site but here is some English-language information about MSO Japan.

The Mind Sports Olympiad is a fun and friendly competitive event where people with various degrees of proficiency will come together for a 'battle of the brains'. MSO Japan will send champions to London this year as a Japanese representative. Why don't you come join us and win a trip to London. This is your chance to enjoy the MSO 5 this summer.

The Mind Sports Olympiad is a unique premium event, held every year in London, comprising some 40 different Mind Sports and mental skills. The inaugural event took place in 1997 at the Royal Festival Hall, where they had about 90 tournaments and 2,000 people who came to take part. Since 1997, the event has been always held in August. Last year at Alexandra Palace, where it will be held again this year, they had over 100 tournaments and just over 5,000 people, from 64 countries taking part.

There will be 37+ games at MSO Japan. We will teach you not only Japanese traditional games but also games originated from various countries. You do not need to know the language to become friends with foreign people when you are playing games!
