10x10 Quickplay Tournament: August 18 and 19 (am)
Format: 6 round Swiss-paired competition.
Time Limit: 25 minutes is allowed per player in each match.
Entry Fee: £18 (Reduced fee of £9 for entrants under 16 at the start of the Olympiad, entrants over 60 at the start of the Olympiad, unemployed entrants and entrants with disabilities.)
8x8 Beginners Tournaments: August 18, 22 & 25 (all pm) and 27 (am)
Format: four separate events; each consists of a 6 round Swiss-paired competition.
Time Limit: 15 minutes is allowed per player in each match.
Entry Fee: £10 (Reduced fee of £5 for entrants under 16 at the start of the Olympiad, entrants over 60 at the start of the Olympiad, unemployed entrants and entrants with disabilities.)
8x8 Blitz World Championship: August 19 (pm)
Format: 9 round Swiss-paired competition.
Time Limit: 5 minutes is allowed per player in each match.
Entry Fee: £14 (Reduced fee of £7 for entrants under 16 at the start of the Olympiad, entrants over 60 at the start of the Olympiad, unemployed entrants and entrants with disabilities.)
10x10 World Championship: August 20 - 22 (all pm)
Format: 6 round Swiss-paired competition.
Time Limit: 50 minutes is allowed per player in each match.
Entry Fee: £22 (Reduced fee of £11 for entrants under 16 at the start of the Olympiad, entrants over 60 at the start of the Olympiad, unemployed entrants and entrants with disabilities.)
8x8 Quickplay Tournament: August 23 and 24 (pm)
Format: 10 round Swiss-paired competition.
Time Limit: 15 minutes is allowed per player in each match.
Entry Fee: £18 (Reduced fee of £9 for entrants under 16 at the start of the Olympiad, entrants over 60 at the start of the Olympiad, unemployed entrants and entrants with disabilities.)
8x8 European Championship: August 25 and 26 (both am+pm) and 27 (am)
Format: 12 round Swiss-paired competition on August 25 - 26; play-offs take place between leading contenders on August 27.
Time Limit: 30 minutes is allowed per player in each match.
