25-27 August: The 9-round main event is the combined European Shogi Championship and MSO Worldwide Shogi Championship (ESC/MSOWSC). All events are open to everybody irrespective of strength, nationality or residence - except the "Shogi For Beginners" event, restricted to beginners only.
