The Third Mind Sports Olympiad
took place between 21-29 August 1999 at the Olympiad Conference Center, London.
The total prize fund was £100,000 ($167,000).

David Howell full coverage
At 5pm
on Sunday 29th August, 8-year-old David Howell beat International
Grandmaster Dr. John Nunn in the five-minute chess event and set a
World Record by being the youngest player ever to beat a chess Grandmaster.
