Firmly established at the Manchester Conference Centre, part of the University of Manchester, the
ninth annual Mind Sports Olympiad is set to encourage competitors to broaden their horizons
through a new payment scheme. A single fee covers bed and breakfast accommodation plus entry
fees for as many days as you like; pay for a day's entry and enter tournaments all the way
throughout the day at no extra fee. This year's Olympiad runs from Friday 19th to Monday 29th
August.

Printed entry forms are being sent out, but there's no need to wait for yours to arrive. Take a look at
the online schedule, work out which tournaments most appeal and use the online entry form to sign
up in good time. A "late entry" surcharge is applied to entries postmarked after 1st August or made
at the event; why not beat the deadline by looking at the schedule on our web site and then
applying to enter using our online form?

] MSO-CON OFFERS A PACKED WEEKEND AT A BARGAIN RATE
Alternatively, we've expanded last year's Hobby Games Festival into MSO-Con - come and play the
cream of modern thematic board games over the August Bank Holiday weekend (26th-29th August)
as part of the Mind Sports Olympiad. One entry fee covers eight tournaments over four days,
including the Victor Ludorum, where you can learn and play new games to your heart's content. It's
great value, too, at just twenty pounds plus optional accommodation costs.
