The Mind Sports movement continues to develop apace! The eighth
annual Mind Sports Olympiad returns to UMIST in Manchester in the UK
for twelve days of intense competition. We are extremely pleased to
have the British Historical Games Society as a partner this year; in
addition, we held the first MSO Schools Division event featuring the
UK Schools' Quiz and Intelligence Championships. In this way, there
are more opportunities to participate in the Mind Sports Olympiad
than ever before. Are you taking part?

] RESULTS OF EVENTS AS THEY HAPPEN
Our team are working hard to get the web site results pages updated
with news of the medal winners from each of our 100+ tournaments
as quickly as possible. In addition, a daily news bulletin has
features promoting all the day's events and results from the previous
day's tournaments, plus we will have exclusive photos taken from the
event on our web site as soon as we can. Follow the fun even if you
can't attend the event!

] PRESTIGIOUS EVENTS AT THIS YEAR'S OLYMPIAD
We're pleased to feature the most open World Memory Championship
for years at this year's Olympiad. In addition, there will be a
big-money Bridge festival with national ranking Green Points to be
won by top players. Our first Hobby Games Festival attracts players
in modern thematic games; one low price covers six tournaments. If
that's not enough, we feature the European Othello Championship,
matches in the British Go Championship title match and top-level
play in a wide assortment of different games and mental skills.
