] MSO 5 CONFIRMED FOR PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC, JULY 1 - 8
Mind Sports Olympiad 5 will take place in the Zofin Palace complex,
a wonderful riverside location in the centre of Prague. The first
four Olympiads were in London - for the first time, the single most
important MSO event of the year goes overseas. The event is fully
confirmed as taking place and we look forward to adding much more
information about it to our site over the coming weeks.

] POSSIBLE MSO EVENT IN LONDON, DETAILS TO BE CONFIRMED
The four London Olympiad events were such great successes, though,
that we want to continue the annual tradition and keep our loyal
fans coming back year after year. It's not yet definite whether
this event will take place or not, but we'll make an announcement
one way or the other on our site by June 8th.

] FULL RESULTS FROM MSO CAMBRIDGE AT THE START OF MAY
We have already held one MSO event in the UK this year, though -
it marked the first time we had ventured outside London and into
Cambridge. It was a tremendous success, with ten tournaments and
one hundred and ten entries. Headline event was the British
Open Shogi Championship, with a trip to the World Championship
in New York at stake. We have full results from every tournament.

"As many of you know the Mind Sports Organisation has been
through a very difficult time but I am delighted to announce
that it has now been resurrected.
Following the liquidation of Mind Sports Organisation Worldwide
Ltd (MSOW) on May 2nd, all the assets of that business have been
purchased by a Swiss company. This purchase includes all the
intellectual property rights relating to the organisation of the
Olympiads themselves.
I have been invited to assist in rebuilding the organisation and
to be the Chief Executive Officer. I have accepted this invitation
with great pleasure. Already funding has been found to enable the
organisation of the Mind Sports Olympiad in Prague from July 1st-8th.
The new Mind Sports Organisation is well placed to capitalize on its
assets - the Mind Sports Olympiad, of which the 5th edition will take
place this summer, and a web site which has won many accolades and has
been ranked by Infoseek as the best in the world for logic games.
Above all, there is a dedicated group of mind sports enthusiasts
wanting to help us, people who served MSOW loyally through the
most difficult of periods, in some cases making big personal
sacrifices to do so."
