] UNITED KINGDOM: UNIVERSITY CENTRE, CAMBRIDGE, 5TH - 6TH MAY
Headlined by the UK Shogi Championship, with three pros attending
and a trip to New York for the World Championship to be won, there
are also day-long events in Chess, Scrabble, Othello and Go. Half-day
tournaments in less famous games let you expand your horizons, too.
Enter 3 or 4 tournaments for GBP 12 (GBP 7 concessions) and you can
play in the Overall Championship to find a single champ for free too!

] JAPAN: RYUTSU CENTRE, TOKYO, 28TH - 29TH APRIL
Top prizes in the MSO Japan events are trips to London for MSO 5;
tournaments in well over thirty games, ancient and modern, will
determine the MSO Japan champions. You can enter on the day for
many of the tournaments - daily tickets cost JPY 2,000. We have
an English-language site about the event and can direct you to the
organisers' own Japanese language site as well.

] OTHER FUTURE MIND SPORTS OLYMPIAD EVENTS
This year's Olympiad is uncertain as was last year's until mid-June
when sufficient sponsorship was found. This year there are
additional problems to be overcome. We hope to have more news fairly
soon. MSO Cambridge and MSO Japan are not financially dependent on
MSO Worldwide. When we have more news about MSO 5, you'll find it all
on the MSO Worldwide site.
