The FIDE chess championships started with a hundred players and now
has only two left: Viswanathan Anand and Alexei Shirov. Every round,
we have offered you the chance to predict the results of the matches
taking place that round in order to win a prize. The arrival of the
final means that there is just one more chance for you to play this
competition and win a book prize - and you need to act quickly before
the final gets underway at 10:15am GMT on Wednesday 20th December.

] ONLINE PARTIES TO CELEBRATE THE CRUCIAL GAMES

We packed our on-site chat rooms out when we held online parties
through the Kasparov-Kramnik match. We had top grandmaster analysis,
we had instant trivia quizzes of all types and we had a lot of fun.
We've been doing it all again during the FIDE championships and expect
our coverage of the Anand-Shirov final to bring the coverage to a
tremendous conclusion. Even when we aren't having online parties, we
have GM analysis of the games in progress on our message boards.
