3rd place Settlers of Catan
tournament at World Boardgaming Championships. Toronto Omega Chess tournament in Jan 1999,
came in third place--top unrated. Observed the World Open chess tournament in
Philadelphia July 1999, 2000. Second Place in Harrisburg Summer Chess Tournament 1999,
a local event with 12 competitors five round Swiss, Game in an hour per side.
Formerly worked as the board games guide for about.com. Helped Josh Krekeler set up the
United States Shogi Federation.
President and Founder of Messiah College Games Club which meets biweekly in a popular
residential lounge with 30+ members -- average turnout around 15-20
Most Recent Loss in a Two-Player Game:
Losing a Spit Match (1-3) against the
Messiah College Games Club Secretary, Chelsea Matsko, near Rochester, NY. Thankfully,
there was nothing at stake.

Likes to use mindsports as an excuse to travel to other countries. Went to Toronto to discuss possibilities for promoting Omega Chess and is trying to get to London this year for the Mind Sports Olympiad 4.
