In its continued quest for excellence, MSO Worldwide Ltd. announced today

Championships in Bermuda and the Backgammon World Cup Challenge taking
place in Istanbul. The World Bridge Championships starting later this week
will be reported on by Harvey Fox who will be in Bermuda to cover the event
exclusively for MSO Worldwide. He will be sending daily stories to the
MindZine in a series called "Bermuda Shorts", providing detailed coverage
unlike any seen before in the history of the game.
Starting the following week (January 11), Backgammon guru, Michael Crane,
will be in Istanbul reporting live from ringside as the Backgammon World
Cup Challenge take place. He'll be providing the MindZine with insights
into the matches, news, interviews, and anything else that might be of
interest to those waiting for further information on the championships from
around the world. The Instanbul match is expected to attract over 250
players with the winner of the Main Flight taking home an estimated $70,000.
"We're very happy with the response we've been getting to the MindZine
segment of the MSO Worldwide web site and we'd like to make it the best it
can be," says Jonathon Tisdall, editor of the popular msoworld.com section,
"But apart from that, we're gratified to have found so many people
interested in taking part and in finding out more information about these
events. Y2K is certainly going to be a great year for Mind Sports and
this is only the beginning!"
The MindZine section of the MSO Worldwide web site is located at
http://www.msoworld.com/mindzine.html and provides detailed coverage on any
number of games and championships happening all over the world.
