    MAKE A WINNING MOVE WIN THE CHESS ELITE!



    As a new generation gets hooked on the fun and challenge of the world's most popular game, chess is now cool in school!

    The biggest tournament yet drew an incredible 35,000 youngsters, with the final 16 battling it out in the Saitek UK Chess Challenge at the Mind Sport Olympiad in London today.

    Now computer chess leaders, Saitek and Dixons are giving budding Kasparovs the chance to win a state of the art chess machine, enjoyed by beginners and seasoned players alike.

    We have six Saitek Elite chess computers worth £30 each, endorsed by world chess champion Garry Kasparov to be won plus five Dixons gift vouchers worth £10 each for the runners-up.

    HOW TO ENTER

    To make your winning move simply tell us how many squares appear on a chequered chessboard.

    Are there: a) 44 b) 54 C) 64?

    Write your answer on the back of a postcard or envelope, add your name and address and send to Chess Competition, Star Promotions, PO Box 40, Ketley, Telford TF1 4PD to reach us by Monday 6 September.
