    Mind Sports Olympiad

    KINGSTON BOROUGH GUARDIAN

    Ray Lloyd

Domino masters from Norbiton scooped more than £1,000 in prize money when they beat off international competition at the annual Mind Sports Olympiad in August.

Members of the TLC Norbiton Domino Club celebrated with champagne after winning gold and bronze in the 5s and 3s section and silver in the straights on August 29.

The Norbiton club clashed with players from as far afield as China, America and Italy, who had come over for the 3rd Olympiad at the Olympia Conference Centre in London for the domino showdown.

And six club players came out on top, with brothers Gordon and Ray Lloyd winning a gold medal, Thomas Wood and Larry Hands winning silver and Mary Orchard and Doreen Wood collecting bronze.
