    Boy beats chess champ


    PRODIGY: David is aged just eight

    A BOY of eight yesterday became the youngest player to beat a grand master at chess. David Howell, of Seaford, East Sussex, beat John Nunn at the Mind Sports Olympiad tournament in London. David, the British under-lO chess champion, beat the previous record by two years. A tournament spokeswoman said: "David was cool as a cucumber."
